Where Does Your Party Stand?

Elon Musk tweeted a state-by-state map of electoral votes by Newsmax’s Carl Higbie showing almost all states won by Kamala Harris had no voter ID requirement:
CA, IL, ME, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NM,VNY, OR, VT, WA. Four do not require photo-ID: CO, CT, DE, VA. Hawaii mails every voter a ballot with a signature required if returned in person. NH and RI require voter ID but only account for two votes each. DC with three votes has no ID requirement for a total of 226.

A few other states, all won by Trump, had these requirements: PA only requires ID for new voters to a county but seven states go much further requiring proof of citizenship: IA, ID, KY, MO, NC, SC and WA.
This novel idea of proof of citizenship may spread by 2026.

Claiming to save democracy, Democrats would end the Electoral College. That won’t save democracy, however requiring voters to present photo-ID would assure only citizens are choosing our leaders and passing laws. That’s how we preserve democracy not ending the electoral college which has worked successfully 16 times since 1829 for Democrats.

Democrats only complain about the electoral college when Republicans win. Expecting a repeat of 2016 when Trump won the electoral vote but lost the popular vote, Democrats kept up their demand to end the Electoral College. So where does your party stand today on keeping the electoral college and requiring photo-ID in every state?
