Sara Ann Stobbe, 71, of Rossville, Georgia, departed this life on November 29, 2024, at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, surrounded by her loving family.

Sara was born on March 26, 1953, in Detroit, to the late John and Margaret Myers Saczko. She was known for her unwavering faith and dedication to her family and community.

Sara was a devoted homemaker and stay-at-home mom, whose love and care were the foundation of her family. She was the heart of the household, always putting others first and making sure everyone was taken care of. As the leader of her family, she nurtured her children with a profound sense of responsibility, love, and strength. Her family meant the world to her, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them, whether at home or on their travels.

A passionate volunteer, Sara dedicated much of her time to helping others. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross, traveling to disaster areas to assist those in need. Additionally, she volunteered at Erlanger Medical Center working in the gift shop. She loved sharing adventures with her husband of 53 years and traveling across the country on their motorcycle. An avid bridge player, Sara enjoyed socializing with friends and family through the game.

Sara’s legacy of compassion, generosity, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Stobbe; daughter, Anne Stobbe; sons, Frank Stobbe, Steve Stobbe, and Mark and Amy Stobbe; grandchildren, Ed Tanchick, Steven Anthony Stobbe, Chloe Stobbe, Brian Stobbe, Ryder Stobbe, Lily Stobbe; two great-grandchildren; brothers, John David Saczko, and Michael John Saczko; sisters, Laurel Thompson, Robin Brady, Mary and Lester Hale; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Angela and Richard Ziulek , Cathy and Ron Yanne, and Jay and Dianne Stobbe; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, between the hours of 12 and 4 p.m. at Ponders Brainerd Chapel, 4203 Brainerd Road.
