Camille Doris Robinson, 101, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Robinson, five sisters and one brother.

Ms. Robinson was a 1940 graduate of Howard High School. She earned both her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Business Education from Tennessee State University. She retired in 1983 after 35 years of dedicated service to her alma mater.

She held membership in her beloved Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for over 75 years and served in many leadership positions while at TSU and with both the Nashville and the Chattanooga Alumnae Chapters.

She has been a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church since her youth and throughout the years, she has served in many leadership capacities.

Ms. Robinson leaves to cherish her memories a devoted niece, Dr. Sandra H. Clark, devoted cousins, Pam Thompson (Leon Grimes), nephew, Harris (Dianna) Robinson, god daughter, Barbara Roberts, special cousins, Kay (Ellis) Little, Ruby Key, Terrence Clay, Lyndon (Ivy) Clay, Gwyndon Bush, Virginia Robinson, several great nephews and great nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 16, from 2–6 p.m. The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s Omega Omega Ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Feb. 17, at noon at Second Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Ernest L. Reid, Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery.
