Free Spirit Who Loved Working In Her Flower Garden

Cynthia Marie Myers, known to loved ones as Cindy, passed away on February 15, 2024, in Friendsville, Tennessee, at the age of 66.

She was born on July 14, 1957, in Maryville, Tn., to the late Jesse and Marie Stinnett.

Along with her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her twin siblings Bobby and Betty, her brother Roger Stinnett, her sister Jessie "Susie" Kirkland, her brother JW Stinnett, grandson Tyler, father-in-law Lester Smith, mother-in-law Ruth Smith, and stepfather WR "Dub."

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William "Bill" Myers, her children Rachel (Bryan) Shaver and Lee (Kelly) Myers, and her cherished grandchildren: Skyler (Abby), Maci, Addison, Logan, Mason, Gavyn, Grayson, Kyndal, Preslee, and Lily. Cindy is also survived by her sisters Shirley Crisp and Linda Stinnett, her brothers HC Stinnett and Brent Stinnett, and many nieces and nephews.

Cindy will be remembered for her free spirit, love for her family, and the joy she found in simple pleasures like working in her flower gardens. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at Broadway United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m. The address for the service is 309 E Broadway, Maryville, Tn. 37804.
