Linda D. Sullivan was born on June 28, 1943, and passed away on December 22, 2023.

Linda was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to William C. Donaldson and Betty Donaldson. She graduated from Tyner High School. She married her high school sweetheart Howard A. Sullivan, Jr. in the Fall of 1961. Soon after they bought a home in Chattanooga and started a family. Howard’s career took the family to six different cities and Linda was always supportive and by his side. Linda was a wonderful and loving mother and wife. Her top priority was her family.

She settled into retirement and focused on her hobbies: antiquing, gardening, taking care of her historic home, travel, playing bridge and her favorite thing which was spending time with her husband.

She and Howard shared a deep love for each other and “their big family” of which they were so proud.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Howard, her sister, Phillis Marko, sons, Trey Sullivan (Jenny), Glen Sullivan (Susie) and daughter, Holly Sullivan-Ramage, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her legacy of gentleness and compassion will be forever remembered and she will be forever missed.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held graveside in the Forest Hills Cemetery on Monday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. Those who are available to attend are welcome.

She will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery in a private ceremony.
