W Road Reopened After Rock Slide

  • Friday, May 24, 2024
The W Road was reopened on Friday, after it had been closed due to a rockslide.

All rockslide debris has been cleared, and the W Road is now safe to travel.

The Highway Department is working closely with a contractor to design a final stabilization plan in the coming weeks. Once the finalized plan is completed and approved, notifications will be made to temporarily re-close the W Road to make final upgrades on the rockslide area.
