Cason Elias McBryar, 15, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, surrounded by his family at his home.

Cason was born in Chattanooga, on July 29, 2008, the son of Debbie McBryar Miller and John Miller and the late Joshua McBryar. He loved riding the school bus and going to school. Cason enjoyed watching the Tennessee Vols and listening to Rocky Top. In addition to his father, Cason was preceded in death by his maternal Poppy, Harry K. Voelp, III and paternal Mamaw, Jenny McBryar.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his brother, J.C. McBryar; two step-brothers, Taylor and Andy Miller; maternal Grammy, Carole Voelp; and paternal Papaw, Gordon (Donna) McBryar, step-grandparents, Tom and Shirley Miller, longtime caregiver, Jennifer Pasley, who was a huge part of his life, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, in the sanctuary at Ooltewah United Methodist Church with Pastor Micah Nicolaus officiating. Visitation will be held following the celebration at the church.
