Longtime Maintenance Supervisor Loved Hunting, Fishing, And Old Cars

Danny Steven Sullivan, 65, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024.

He was born in the Lakeview area and was living in Chickamauga. His parents were Otha Lee (OL), Jr. and Elsie Sullivan.

Danny attended Lakeview High School. He was the maintenance supervisor for Roller Die, formally known as Pyramid, until he retired in 2021. For most of his life he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a special interest in older cars specifically Chevys. You could find him at the drag strip with his lifelong friends. He and this group of friends enjoyed meeting each Thursday to go out to eat and fellowship. Danny valued these friends so very much. He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Otha Lee Sullivan, III and Terry Sullivan; sister, Diane Long.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Madison Lee Sullivan (Jackson Bass); the love of his life, Deborah Sullivan; aunt, Linda Wilson; inlaws, Eric and Lisa “Sally” Bass, Parker and Louden Bass; best friends, Rick Prater, Corky Buckles, and Randy Eldridge (best friends whom he considered brothers) several nieces and nephews and extended family members. He will be especially missed by his fur babies, Cocoa, Rory, Millie, Foofie, Mr. Handsome and Thor.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the oncologist, Dr. Sumana Nagireddy and Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Johnson.

A chapel service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 22. The interment will follow at Lakewood South.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 21, from 2–8 p.m. and Saturday, June 22, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

All arrangements have been made by Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel in Rossville, Ga.
