The Chattanooga Division of Transportation announces Tennessee American Water has completed its water main repair on Belvoir Avenue at S. Terrace Avenue; however, damage to stormwater and other road infrastructure will require additional time to finish.
The following closures will extend until Wednesday, July 31:
- Belvoir Avenue is fully closed south of S. Terrace Avenue, requiring a detour via Wiley Avenue; and
- Right turn lane of S. Terrace Ave eastbound.
While city crews perform repairs, the following closure will also be required to maintain single-lane access on S.
Terrace Avenue starting this coming Monday until Wednesday, July 31:
- Belvoir Avenue between S. Terrace Avenue and N. Terrace Avenue (bridge over I-24).
