Green Thumb Garden Club Meets Aug. 12

The Green Thumb Garden Club of Collegedale/Ooltewah will meet Monday, Aug. 12, 6:45 p.m. at Chestnut Hall (in the Commons), 4950 Swinyar Dr. in Collegedale.  

The presenter is Certified Garden Coach Karen Creel, whose topic is "Fall Gardening."  Wanting to share her knowledge and love of gardening, Ms. Creel started teaching local gardening classes with the goal of having everyone, no matter their space or expertise, grow part of their food.

First-time visitors are free.  Membership is $15 yearly per person or $25 per couple or family.  There will be refreshments and door prizes.
