Linda Jamerson, 75, of Chattanooga entered into God’s Kingdom on July 5, 2024. She was born August 18, 1948 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Ruby Page Stone and Bernard Yow.

Linda, The most loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Jamerson.

She is survived by her son, Gary Jamerson (Erin), of Hixson, Tennessee, daughter, Tori Hayes (Ira), of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, four grandchildren, Hunter Jamerson, Ezra, Asher, and Uriah Hayes, sister-in-law, Jewellene Braun, of St. Mary’s, Georgia.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Central High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She married her high school sweetheart in April 1967 and relocated to California.

She worked in special education for Riverside County School District and retired as the county’s Braille Transcriber.

Linda had personality and natural kindness to make friends everywhere she went and a smile with dimples to brighten everyone’s day. She enjoyed travel, listening to music, growing flowers, spending time with family, genealogy, and craft shows.

She was of the Christian faith and her favorite scripture passages included John 14: 1-3 and 27.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
