Bobbie Keith Orr, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on August 1, 2024, at the age of 97.

She was born on Oct. 12, 1926, in Soddy, and had been a lifelong resident of Soddy Daisy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Orr (Max), her parents, Roy L. Keith and Beatrice Lewis Keith, and her sister, Thelma Keith Milligan (Bill).

Bobbie attended Soddy-Daisy High School, where she excelled academically and was actively involved in various clubs and organizations. She was a proud member of the Beta Club, 4-H Club, and served as the FFA queen for the 1941-1942 academic year. Additionally, she proudly represented her school as a football sponsor. Bobbie was also a member of the Business and Professional Women's Clubs of America, showcasing her dedication to professional growth and community involvement.

In 1946, Bobbie married her high school sweetheart, Malcolm "Max" Orr, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared memories. Their marriage of almost 78 years was a testament to their enduring love and commitment to one another.

Bobbie was immensely proud of her daughter and son-in-law, Sherrill and James Card, who brought much joy and happiness into her life. She cherished her role as a loving grandmother to her granddaughters, Elizabeth Card and Katherine Card, and delighted in watching them grow. She rarely missed any of their activities and supported them in every way she could.

Throughout her life, Bobbie found solace and strength in her faith, and she was an active member of Cross of Calvary Community Church. Her devotion to her faith was evident in the way she lived her life and the kindness she showed to others.

Bobbie Keith Orr will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her dedication to her community, and her strong faith. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, in Presbyterian Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
