June Sexton Payne
June Sexton Payne, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
A longtime resident of Chattanooga, Mrs. Payne was retired from H&R Block after more than 40 years of service.
She was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Payne.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Robinson and Karen Sledge both of Murfreesboro, Tn.; Jennifer Hepler, Athens, Ga., and Sara Elizabeth Payne, Scottsdale, Arizona; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 23, at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Taggart officiating.
Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
