Kelly Anne Christopher Sowders of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on September 2, 2024.

Kelly resided in Kennesaw, Ga., most of the last 30 years, and has lived a full life spanning from Wyoming to where she called home originally in Chattanooga.

Kelly took great pride in her professional career and retired from ALS Resolvion in 2020. She was quick-witted and quirky, and had many hobbies and joys such as gardening to watching B Rated movies with friends and family. She was very social and enjoyed playing hostess on holiday events.

Kelly was preceded to her heavenly home by her father and mother, Dan and Beverly Christopher, and siblings, Valerie Snow Cooper and Scott Weathersby.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Danielle Sowders, son, Michael Hix (Ingela Hix), nephew, Robin Snow (Heather and Isabella), and niece, Mary Thornburg (Mason).

Please join us Saturday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home in Hixson, to celebrate Kelly’s life and accomplishments with Tommy Woods officiating. We ask that instead of flowers you bring a photo or memory.
