Lanita Gail “Doll” Westfield, 69, passed away on January 2, 2025. She was born July 22, 1955, to the late Curtis W. and Marian M. Watkins in Chattanooga.
Lanita is a graduate of Riverside High School, class of 1973, and Cleveland State Community College. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cleveland, where she was a member of the usher board and worked with the Sunday School.
She enjoyed attending church, cooking and watching reality and drama television.
Her parents, Curtis W. and Marian M. Watkins; husband, Thomas Westfield; son, Carlos Westfield; grandparents, Thomas and Savannah Watkins, and James and Willie Mae Mack, preceded her in death.
Those to cherish her precious memory are her daughter, Tiffanee Westfield; grandchildren, KeyAnna and Carlos Westfield of Chattanooga, Kaiwqne Westfield (caregiver) of Cleveland; brothers, Michael Watkins, Curtis (Angelia) Watkins, and Kirby (Ceyolanja) Carr; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and best friend, Tara Jones.
Public viewing will be held 9-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, followed by an 11:30 a.m. funeral service at John P. Franklin Funeral Home. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
