Rita Felicia Cullen, 83, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, after a battle with cancer.
Rita was born in Bronx, NY, on February 24, 1941, the daughter of the late John Joseph Cullen and Rita Wieser Cullen. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Staten Island, NY and Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. She worked in publishing as a project manager for Academic Press in NYC.
Rita was a philanthropist, world traveler, avid gardener. She had a great smile and a wonderful sense of humor.
In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her step-father, Fred Fields.
She is survived by a cousin, Deborah Farley.
