Karen Heintz Gamble, 81, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was born in Baltimore, Md., and lived in Huntington Station, NY before attending Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa.

After marriage to Richard Gamble, she taught primary school and then taught English as a Second Language in the Atlanta area. Later she worked in medical record coding at Scottish Rite Children's Center in Atlanta and St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Co.

Karen loved learning and laughed easily. She found joy in time with friends and family, natural beauty, music, reading, and sewing. She was passionate about caring for her community.

She is survived by her two children, Ben Gamble and Jennifer Dennis.

No services will be held.
