Our local, once locally owned, newspaper is going crazy. I have been getting for a while now a orange bag in my driveway with an East Hamilton Community newspaper. I did not ask or subscribe to this publication from the Chattanooga Times Free Press. I called the newspaper and politely ask to stop this publication from being discarded in my driveway and was informed it's done by a third party vendor. So I asked for their information and was informed it could not be given out.
Really? This is the same newspaper that informed all of Chattanooga several years back that they were going digital and we as subscribers' choices were to go digital with a hefty price increase or not get a daily newspaper anymore.
This is also the same newspaper that 30 years ago I stopped using for ads because of their pricing methods. It was based on the item in the ads price, not by the size of the ad - the higher the item price the higher the ad. Really?
