Sarah Patricia “Pat” Arwood
Sarah Patricia “Pat” Arwood, 78, passed on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Life Care Center of Hixson.
Pat was the wife of the late Kenneth M. Arwood. Born on Jan. 26, 1947, in Memphis, she was the daughter of the late Henry H. Holt, Jr. and Sarah (Craig) Holt. Pat was a retired school bus driver with Hamilton County Schools and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she volunteered in the nursery for many years. Pat was an animal lover with a particular fondness for cats and horses. Pat leaves behind her beloved cats, Freckles, Codette, and Little Bit.
Ms. Arwood is survived by her son, Alex, her two grandsons, Edwin and Evan, and her brother, Henry H. Holt, III.
Visitation will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home on Thursday, April 3, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, at Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with the eulogy to be officiated by Calvary Baptist Church Ministry. Interment to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
