Jonathan Tyler Ivey, 26, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

He was born on March 20, 1999, and graduated from Hamilton County High School. Jonathan worked for various restaurants as a server. He had accepted Christ as his savior in April 2017 and was very passionate about God’s word.

Jonathan was well known by many and loved by everyone. His contagious smile and heartwarming personality had an impact on everyone he was around. Jonathan never met a stranger, always willing to talk or help anyone.

Jonathan leaves behind his loving mother and father, Kimberly and Mark Ivey; sister, Maegan Brooks; brothers, Joshua Chamberlain and Brandon Kagay; maternal grandparents, Billy and Naomi Brooks; two nieces and four nephews who adored him greatly.

The family will have a private time of viewing prior to the service.

A private family ceremony for Jonathan will be held on Tuesday, April 22, at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
