Cleveland High School Senior Awarded Inaugural Barbara Ector Memorial Scholarship

The Tennessee Center for Civic Learning and Engagement and the Ector Family announce Addyson Rose Arnold as the recipient of the inaugural Barbara Ector Memorial Scholarship.

"Ms. Arnold, a graduating senior at Cleveland High School with a perfect 4.0 GPA, exemplifies the spirit of educational excellence that this scholarship represents," official said. "As a Raider Scholar, cheer captain and active member of both the National Honor Society and Junior Civitan, Ms. Arnold has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and leadership capabilities."

Ms.
Arnold will pursue her dream of becoming a teacher at Bryan College, where she plans to major in elementary education.

This scholarship honors the memory of Barbara Ector, a longtime Cleveland educator and former vice principal at Cleveland High School while supporting the next generation of Tennessee educators.
