Clarice “Jeanette” Lambert
Clarice “Jeanette” Lambert, 87, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Jeanette lived a life filled with love, wisdom, and a deep connection to the simple joys of everyday living.
An avid reader, she found comfort and inspiration in the pages of countless books. She spent many fulfilling hours in her garden, nurturing vibrant flowers and fresh vegetables, then lovingly canning and freezing her harvest to share with family and friends. Sundays were a cherished time for Janette, as she enjoyed listening to various preachers, finding solace and guidance in their words. She was also a loyal listener of Swap and Shop, delighting in the lively exchanges and sense of community it brought.
Jeanette’s warmth, generosity, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Ray and Clara Hutton Parker, Husband, John W. Lambert, brothers, Charles W. Parker, Everette L. Parker, and Larry Parker, step-grandchild, Chad Creswell and brother-in-law, Hermon Owens.
She is survived by three sons, John Lambert, Jr., Darwin (Sandy) Lambert, Wendell (Renee) Lambert; grandson, Jeremy Lambert, sister, Wanda Owens, sister-in-law, Peggy Parker, several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
A graveside service will be held for Jeanette at Harvon’s Chapel Cemetery at 3267 Shellmound Road, Jasper, Tn., on Thursday, May 29, at 2 p.m. (CDT) with Pastor Roger Webb officiating. All friends and loved ones are invited to gather, and honor the remarkable woman she was.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, from 4-8 p.m. (CDT) at Rogers Funeral Home Chapel, Jasper Chapel, at 21 East Fifth St., Jasper, Tn.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Parker, Ricky Parker, Rusty Parker, Terry King, Jerry McKaig, Robert Casteel and Jeremy Lambert.
Jeanette’s presence will be dearly missed, but the love and joy she brought into the world will remain in the hearts of all who knew her
