Thomas George Bartlett III passed away on June 2, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama.

He was born on Dec. 21, 1953, in Knoxville, Tn., son of Essie Bartlett and the late Thomas George Bartlett Jr. “T” was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.

T graduated with graduate degrees from the University of Florida and University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He worked in hospital administration for over 40 years, most recently at
Laird Hospital in Union, Mississippi. During his accomplished career, he held various positions, starting as a cardiopulmonary tech and quickly becoming CEO Hospital Administrator.

T enjoyed golf, fishing, tennis and, most especially, travel.

He is survived by his wife, Tamela Bartlett, sons, Thomas George Bartlett IV and Tanner Moss, mother, Essie Bartlett, beloved grandsons, Thomas George Bartlett V and Henry Bartlett, and other loved family members. T will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 13, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral services for T will follow at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park (Duck Pond) in White Oak.
