Hit And Run Suspect Arrested - And Other East Ridge Police Calls

25-006456 – 1204 Connelly Lane – Assist Other Agency
The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) responded to a hit and run crash on South Crest Road. A gray Dodge Avenger hit another vehicle, then fled south on John Ross Road. East Ridge Police found the vehicle unoccupied on Connelly Lane and attempted to locate the owner. Near 5200 State Line Road, police observed a female walking into Georgia wearing no shoes and appearing out of breath.
Officers attempted to speak with her, and she spontaneously identified herself as the driver of the hit and run vehicle. Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the location and arrested her for Public Intoxication. The subject’s information and the Avenger’s vehicle data were sent to the CPD Investigator. Warrants through CPD are currently pending.

25-006431 – 5900 BLK Ringgold Road – Property –
An employee at the storage facility reported that a male ran into the keypad, causing minor damage.

25-006428 – 1500 BLK Springvale Road - Disorder Prevention
Police responded to the residence with a party to retrieve her daughter's belongings. Officers stood by while she claimed the property and left without further incident.

25-006441 - 4214 Ringgold Road - Warrant Service
A man was served with a forfeiture Capias for driving on a revoked license.

25-006439 - 4214 Ringgold Road - Warrant Service
While in custody at Hamilton County Jail, a woman was served with a harassment warrant through the City of East Ridge.

Night Shift June 18: C Squad

25-006454 – 500 BLK South Germantown Road – Suspicious Activity
Police located a gray Ford F250 in the roadway and found it had run out of gas. Police spoke with the vehicle occupant who stated the driver of the truck went to get more gas. She only knew the driver as “Steve” and claimed not to know his last name. A check of the registration revealed that neither she nor “Steve” were the owners of the truck. The vehicle was towed, and the woman was given a courtesy ride to a store on Brainerd Road.


25-006457 – 1015 Yale Street – Suspicious Activity
Police found an unsecure door at the old Animal Control Services (ACS) building. Police cleared the building along with the surrounding facilities and found no one on the premises. The door was secured, and police left the scene.
