UT Health Science Center College Of Medicine-Chattanooga Promotes Faculty

As of July 1, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine-Chattanooga has promoted seven faculty members. Each year the UT Health Science Center College of Medicine conducts a rigorous review of faculty accomplishments to recognize the expertise and hard work faculty members contribute to the UTHSC mission of healthy Tennesseans. This year, one faculty member was promoted to professor and six were promoted to associate professor.
 
"These esteemed clinicians and educators have demonstrated excellence in the domains of clinical care, medical education, research and community service.
Their contributions directly impact the citizens of our region and community, as well as the 250 medical students and over 210 physicians in specialty training that are learning state-of-the-art medical care on our campus. I am proud to be associated with such a dynamic group of leaders who contribute directly to the future state of healthcare in our region" 
says Dr. James Haynes, dean of the UT Health Science Center College of Medicine-Chattanooga.

Jason Rehm, MD, FACS, Associate Professor, Orthopaedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery
 
The college celebrates these distinguished faculty and their contributions to training the future of healthcare, delivering top-tier care in hospitals and clinics across Tennessee, conducting cutting-edge research, and engaging communities statewide and will host a reception in honor of these individuals at a later date.
