Over the years she sang with Sweet Adelines Women’s Singing Group, with a mixed quartet and a ladies group called the Accidentals. She accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at the age of 13. Jackie met the love of her life, Bob, in 1961 and they married three years later. They had a loving marriage that spanned 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Imogene Allen, brother, Fred Allen and mother-in-law, Mary Olson.
