Andrea Lee “Andi” Robinson Hollis
Andrea Lee “Andi” Robinson Hollis, 53, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Andi was born and raised in Hixson, and was a graduate of Hixson High School and Chattanooga State Community College, where she earned a degree in nursing. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Erlanger Hospital, a job she loved and where she impacted countless lives and made lifelong friends.
Andi was known for her big, warm and loving personality and as a nurse who cared for everyone. Her presence was a hurricane of energy—loud, unapologetic, and utterly wonderful. She had a way of making people feel included. She always said “I love you!” at the end of a phone call or even out the window of her car as she drove past. She made friends easily and loved them fiercely. She will be missed beyond measure.
Andi was preceded in death by her parents, Jackie and Eleanor Robinson, of Hixson.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Kevin Hollis, and their three sons, Logan Hollis, Morgan Hollis and Evan Hollis (Kinsey), and two grandsons, Asher and Crew, all of Hixson. She is also survived by her brother, Gil Robinson and sister Terry Dobbins, also of Hixson. She leaves behind her fur babies Dixie, Tallulah, Murphy and Sadie and her cat Lucy.
The Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Aug. 9. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home at 8852 Dayton Pike in Soddy Daisy. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and end with the service at 1 p.m. Following the service, the family will receive guests from 2:45-5 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Northside at 8615 Hixson Pike in Hixson.
