Sharon Blankenship Coe, 70, of Canton, N.C., formerly of Chattanooga, died Friday, June 30, 2006, at her residence.
A resident of Chattanooga since 1966, Mrs. Coe retired to Canton in 2000. She was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church and was retired from BellSouth. She was formerly owner and operator of Coe Mortgage Company.
She is survived by her husband, Lowell T. Coe, of Canton; mother, Nina Mullins, of West Virginia; son, W. Patrick Coe, of Chattanooga; daughters, Cathy Coe and Pamela McCallie, both of Chattanooga; brothers, Curtis Blakenship, of Ephrian, UT, and Mike Blakenship, of Fenwick, WV; sisters, Brenda Blake and Debbie Nettles, both of Richwood, WV, and Dawn Tharp, of Craigsville, WV; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, in the chapel. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Michael Coe McCallie, Michael David McCallie, Andrew McCallie, Thomas Coe, James Earls and Mike Blakenship serving as pallbearers.
