Robert Mac “Bob” Roos, 81, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2007.

Robert was born in LaFollette, Tn., and served during World War II in the U.S. Coast Guard in the Aleutian Islands. He worked for 27 years at Southeast Federal Savings and Loan Company in Rossville and Trenton where he retired an Assistant Vice President. Robert was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.

Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sybil Hamilton Roos; son, Robert Addison (Kimberly) Roos; grandchild, Robert Patrick Roos; nieces and nephews, Peggy Lukken, Chip Allen, Francie Ryder and Mimi Italia.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stan Braley officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday and 10-11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
