Vickie Hancock Was Victim In Highway 58 Crash

Vickie Lynn Hancock, 47, has been identified as the woman who died in a fiery wreck on Highway 58 early Sunday morning.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the traffic crash at 2:36 a.m. in the 9700 block of Highway 58.

Deputies found that a vehicle ran off the roadway, going through a yard and crashing into some trees. The vehicle was burning, and deputies and by-standers attempted to remove the driver. However, due to heavy smoke and flames, they were not able to approach the car.

The Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire.

The driver was removed and transported to Erlanger Hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services. Ms. Hancock was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
