Police Blotter: Girl Assaulted In Hallway At Orchard Knob Middle School

A female student at Orchard Knob Middle School said she was assaulted in a hallway by two other girls.

She said a teacher, Eddie McCoy, witnessed the assault and broke it up.

The girl said one of the girls grabbed her by the hair and she said they hit her numerous times.

Charges of assault were taken against the two girls.

Tracey Korynas said she and her boyfriend, Antonio Woodruff, began arguing at her apartment at W. 13th Street Court.

She said she had not seen him for about a month since he had gotten married. She said she had asked him to return an apartment key.

She said he began slapping her, then he became irate when he saw that she had moved some of his items.

She said he hit her in the left eye with a closed fist, then shoved her against several walls. She said she wound up in the kitchen where he grabbed her by the throat and began choking her. She said he did so until she slipped to the floor and passed out.

She said when she awoke her chest hurt and she had trouble breathing. She was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

She said Woodruff is a member of the Bounty Hunter Bloods gang.

A warrant for assault was taken against him.

At Aunt Sue's K-9 Bakery, a white male was seen breaking out a rear window.

He did so using a metal chair.

Susannah Cate said when she got off work at Hamilton Place Mall she saw that someone had ripped the leather top on her Jeep and had broken into the locked glove compartment.

Nothing was missing.

Christy Pope of Meteor Trail said she heard a noise at the back door.

She shined a flashlight and saw two men wearing dark clothing running away.

A woman said she went inside the EPB bill payment office for five minutes.

When she came back out, someone had knocked out a window on her car and taken her purse.

An officer sitting in a car on Hancock Terrace saw a black male look into windows on two different houses. One of the rooms he peered in was occupied by a seven-year-old girl.

The man, Dwayne Russell, said his dog had gotten loose and he was looking for it.

It was noted that the houses had fenced yards and the dog would not have likely been there.

Russell was charged with attempted burglary.
