LBMC Salt Group Adds Emily Job To Tax Team; Expands Physician Business Solutions Services

LBMC has announced that Emily Job, CPA has joined the State and Local Tax Team. 

Ms. Job joined LBMC in 2010 and has been promoted to manager. As a manager specializing in state income/franchise tax matters, she will be able to provide support to all offices. 

Ms. Job's primary focus will be in the following areas: providing all offices with a resource for state income questions, monitoring legislative changes and informing the tax department of current developments, reviewing income and franchise tax returns as well as other state and local tax returns, researching state and local income tax matters and preparing technical memorandums, assisting with state and local income tax nexus studies and/or potentially voluntary disclosure filings, providing ProSystem support for state preparation issues, and identifying filing elections, exemptions, credits and incentives, as well as corporate structures that can reduce a client’s tax burden. 

Ms. Job currently serves as the chair of the Young Professional Steering Group and also is a Steering Group member of Tax Practice Leaders for the Leading Edge Alliance She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Scenic City Chattanooga Optimist Club as well as Chattanooga Tax Practitioners. She enjoys volunteering with Junior Achievement, Ronald McDonald Fall Festival, and the Orange Grove Center. In her free time, Ms. Job enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Rocco. She is a graduate of UTC.

LBMC, PC has also expanded its Physician Business Solutions’ services to meet growing client demand.  

LBMC has seen a steady spike in demands from independent medical practices and hospital/health system-employed physicians and mid-level providers who need support handling revenue cycle (billing, credentialing, practice management, etc.) services. LBMC has expanded the Physician Business Solutions team and services allowing physicians to get back to what they do best, practicing medicine, said officials. 

LBMC is now providing revenue cycle services for physicians and mid-level providers on a larger scale. The company currently provides billing and credentialing services through LBMC Physician Business Solutions’ team of professionals. The service includes an IT solution (scheduling, billing and electronic medical records) and all services and systems are covered under a percentage-of-collections arrangement. Currently, the team is providing services for an array of specialties including: 

Physician management support and EMR solutions
Physician practice revenue cycle services
Physician practice management/admin oversight
Medical Services Organization to include HR, Billing, Consulting and Accounting
