Danny William Whittle, 63, of Ringgold, died on Thursday, August 11, 2016 in a local health care center.
A longtime resident of Apison, Danny had lived in Ringgold for the past 20 years.
He was employed with the City of East Ridge for the past 36 years and attended Ringgold Church of Christ.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Irene Whittle; brother, Mike Whittle and sister, Connie Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Marlene Whittle; daughters, Cindy Kile, Ringgold and Stacey Peak, Decatur, TN; son, Will Whittle, Ringgold; sisters, Sharon Cummings, Chattanooga, Jenny Hullander, Apison and Sherry Whittle, AL; brother, Marty Whittle, Apison; four grandchildren, Kelsey, Hailey, Autumn and Payton; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Sunday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Debbie Stokes and Bob Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Plowman Cemetery with Andy Cornett, Jamie Crowden, Kevin Crowden, Travis Johnson, Chris Strickland and Kevin Kellogg serving as pallbearers.
