Judy Kay Mynatt Ogle, 69, passed away on August 4, 2017 at the University of Tennessee hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee after a short illness.

A native of Knoxville, she graduated from Central High School in 1965. She attended Lee University.

Judy was a loyal helper and companion o the love of her life, Reverend William Michael Ogle. They met when they were both 12 years old and would have been married for 52 years this October. Judy was a gifted decorator and used her skills to bring beauty to United Methodist congregations in Dayton, Englewood, Decatur, Chattanooga, Louisville, and Bluff City Tennessee until Mike’s retirement in 2013. She loved god and working in the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Spurgeon and Iva Lee Mynatt, her sister Linda Carol Riley, and a son in law Nathan Paul Garner.

She is survived by her husband Mike, Cleveland her son Mike, Blacksburg, VA son Tim (Kristy), Cleveland, daughter Kelley Ogle Garner, LaJolla California. 6 grandchildren, Haley Ogle Tilley (Justin), Cleveland, Mary Beth Ogle Spencer (Hunter), Cleveland, Emily Grace Ogle, Cleveland, Chris Allen Ogle, Cleveland, Joshua Bryson Ogle, LaJolla CA,  and Madeline Grey Garner, LaJolla CA, two great grandchildren, Jackson Behr Tilley, Cleveland, and her newest grandchild, Fletcher Ray Spencer, Cleveland, age 4 weeks, whom she did not live to see. She is also survived by friend and step mother Evelyn Mynatt, Knoxville, sister Donna Mynatt, Knoxville, two brothers, David Hodges (Dina), Brian Hodges (Kelly), several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Cleveland, with a memorial service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital or your favorite charity.

Ministers of the Holsten Annual conference and their spouses may serve as honorary pallbearers.
