Sylvia Powell
Sylvia Ann Johnson Powell, 82, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on November 17, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Darlene Rowe; parents, Raymond and Allene Johnson; brother, Eugene Johnson; grandparents, Deward and Ada Varnell, George and Nellie Johnson; and four legged best friend Ritz.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Allan Powell; two sons, Eric, Daryl (Margret) Powell; sister, Wilma Young; brother, Spencer Johnson and special friend Mary Anne Williams; grandchildren; great grandchildren; special aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews. She loved them all.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Varnell Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Loveless officiating.
