Christina Conner
Christina Rose Conner, 19, of Soddy Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 31, 2019.
She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Lake Drive Baptist Church. To those in her family and friends she was known as “Stina” and “Mount”. Tina graduated in 2018 from Sequoyah High School and was a member of the Raiders ROTC Program at Sale Creek High School and Sequoyah High School. She was in her second year at Chattanooga State where she was studying to be an Environment Scientist. Tina was a volunteer firefighter with Sequoyah Fire Department. She had a heart for animals and was a very loving, caring person that was full of life. She gave the ultimate gift of life through organ donation to eight different people.
Tina was preceded in death by her nephew, Waylon Jax McKee; grandmother, Vada Conner and uncle, Timothy R. Conner.
Survivors are her parents, Mark and Michelle Conner; grandmother, Beverly Beaird and Jerry Beaird (Phyllis); brothers, Donnie McKee (Rebecka), Lucas Mathis, Aden Conner and Dominic Curtis; sisters, Brandy Dykes (Mike March), Bryanne D’Angelo (Jacob), Brittany Conner, Mercedes Curtis, Alexis Curtis and Aspen Mahoney; nieces, Aubrey Dykes, Dixie Dykes, Lilly Dykes, Destiny Dykes, Chloe D’Angelo, Bella D’Angelo, Peri D’Angelo; her “babies” Eva and Snowflake and her boyfriend, Kyle Carson and his family.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Haynes officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park.
Visitation is on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. and up to the service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
