Signal’s Inaugural Mountain Madrigal Feast Debuts Dec. 6

  • Friday, November 8, 2019

Tickets are on sale for the inaugural Mountain Madrigal Feast. "This events is sure to become a favorite holiday tradition on Signal Mountain," officials said.

This holiday Renaissance feast and musical theatre experience is hosted by the SMMHS Theatre Arts Boosters and debuts Friday evening, Dec. 6, in the Fellowship Hall at Signal Crest United Methodist Church on Taft Highway.

Students from theater, band, strings and chorus are collaborating on this fundraiser for the Theatre Boosters.

King Ethan Fell and Queen Olivia Speek, both seniors at Signal Mountain Middle High School, will be supported by 10 members of the court, as well several wenches and knaves. The latter will serve food and engage the audience in role play.

Another SMMHS senior, Keegan Perez, is writing the script to highlight student talents.

The night’s entertainment will also include a strings quartet, brass ensemble and dance.

Food will be catered by Southern Star, and will include a showcase table featuring a boar’s head.

Tickets are sold online only, with a discount for royal tables of eight, at www.smtheatre.org

"We are expected to sell out, so don’t delay your order," officials said.
