Two major projects side by side on Hixson Pike got recommendations of approval from the Planning Commission on Monday.
Jay Bell, of Bell Development, is planning townhomes on 35 acres at 7023 Hixson Pike.
An adjacent project by Greentech will feature 230 single family detached homes on 55 acres, the commission was told.
Rocky Chambers and Chris Anderson said it will be the first project in Hixson by Greentech.
