In order to hone their writing and communication skills, the entire Brainerd Baptist first grade class wrote to every one of the Morning Pointe of Collegedale at Greenbriar Cove assisted living community’s residents.

This pen pan project is the brainchild of Brainerd Baptist employee Susie Haddock, daughter-in-law of Mary Haddock.

“We were so excited to receive all of these wonderful letters,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Naomi Schumacher. “Thank you to Brainerd Baptists School and all of the first graders who wrote to us!”
