Yolanda Nealy
Yolanda Vanessa Nealy, 64, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on June 18, 2019, in a local hospital.
She was born on July 18, 1954, in Chattanooga, to her parents, James A. Nealy and Barbara "Pinky" Nealy. Yolanda confessed her belief in Christ at an early age. She attended New Horizon Baptist Church. Yolanda was a graduate of Riverside High School. Yolanda had an infectious smile and never met a stranger. She had a giving heart and was always willing to give and help those she knew and loved. Yolanda took pride in being a mother to her children and her greatest joy was being a grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Ethel Ward and father James Nealy Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her devoted mother Barbara "Pinky" Nealy; daughters, Taneka (Derrick) Jordan, LaQuisha Cousin, Alexis Goss of Chattanooga, TN ; sons, Fred Cousin, Charles Pipkens, Kentarius Nealy of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Tiara Boston, Rodney Boston, Keon Vaughn, Ashton Goss, and Charles Pipkens Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Beverly Billingslea of Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Stanley (Vanessa) Nealy, Gerald and Kevin Jones all of Chattanooga, TN; special friend, Jerry McCullough and a host of other relatives and friends.
The body will lie in state on Wednesday, June 26, from 12-8:30 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 27, at 1 p.m. at New Horizon Baptist Church.
