Water Distribution Site Locations Set For Sunday

  • Saturday, September 14, 2019

The City of Chattanooga, Chattanooga Fire and Police Departments continue to provide services, alongside our county and regional partners and Tennessee American Water, to those without water.

Additionally, partners at Tri-State Mutual Aid Association continue to provide fire suppression for Hamilton County until water is returned to those residences.

While pressure maps provided by Tennessee American Water are looking optimistic for recovery efforts, Chattanooga Fire and Police and Youth and Family Development will operate water distribution sites on Sunday.

The three sites, listed below, will operate from 1-6 p.m.

Officials said, "We ask that if you have enough clean drinking water to get through Sunday, please refrain from getting excess water tomorrow. Additionally, Tennessee American has maintained state water quality standards throughout this event and recommended boil water notice out of an abundance of caution. If you have adequate water pressure, please adhere to the boil notice."

WATER DISTRIBUTION LOCATIONS:

  • John A. Patten YFD Center, 3202 Kelly's Ferry Road

  • North Chattanooga YFD Center, 406 May Street

  • Chattanooga Police and Fire Training Center, 3200 Amnicola Highway

If you are absolutely unable to travel to get water you can call 311 at (423) 643-6311, email 311@chattanooga.gov or message them on Facebook.

The City of Chattanooga will continue to share any major updates issued throughout the evening from Tennessee American Water and Hamilton County Emergency Management on Twitter and Facebook
