Hamilton County Has No New COVID Deaths, 62 New Cases; State Has 9 More Deaths, 2,068 Cases

Hamilton County coronavirus deaths remained at 101 on Sunday, and there are 62 new cases, bringing the total to 10,665. 

There were 2,068 new cases in the state on Sunday, for a total of 214,717.

Tennessee had nine more coronavirus deaths bringing the total to 2,767, state Health Department officials said. 

The state currently has 985 people hospitalized from the virus, 40 fewer than on Saturday.

There have been 193,849 people who have recovered from the virus in Tennessee (90 percent).

Testing numbers are above 3.162 million across the state.

Shelby County: 32,722 cases, up 192; 537 deaths, up 4

Davidson County: 28,294 cases, up 174; 321 deaths

Knox County: 10,862 cases, up 132; 82 deaths

Bledsoe County:  895 cases, up 2; 4 deaths

Bradley County: 3,225 cases, up 26; 20 deaths

Grundy County: 435 cases, up 7; 8 deaths

Marion County: 623 cases, up 6; 9 deaths

Meigs County: 257 cases, up 3; 4 deaths

Polk County: 445 cases, up 3; 13 deaths

Rhea County: 971 cases, up 5; 16 deaths

Sequatchie County: 267 cases, up 2; 1 death
