Man Jailed After He Said He "Just Threw Junior Across The Room"

A man is facing child abuse charges after he allegedly “threw junior across the room.”

According to police, they responded to a child abuse call on Tuesday from T.C. Thompson Hospital. A woman said she had left her children with their biological father, Eugene Hudson-White, 31, and then she ran some errands.

When she texted him to see how the children were doing, Hudson-White allegedly texted back, “I just threw Junior across the room he bumped his head but he okay.” When she video chatted to make sure her children were safe, one was unharmed, but the other had what was described as “a large bump” on his head.

When police spoke to the child, "Junior" said Hudson-White grabbed him by the arm and threw him across the room, which resulted in a head injury.  Police then collected screenshots of the texts between the two parents.

When police inspected the house, they learned that Hudson-White had allegedly thrown the child almost 10 feet. A warrant was then taken out for Hudson-White and he was charged with child abuse and neglect.
