Chattanooga's "Scenic City Summer Showcase," a popular softball tournament, has been postponed. It was originally planned to occur from June 4-7. However, Hamilton County's government recently told the tournament that Chattanooga fields would not be opened in June.

According to the statement on the tournament's website:

"Scenic City Summer has been moved to August 6-9th. Please give us a couple of days to regroup and shift gears internally to the future.
If you are a registered team we will reach out to you early next week."

The tournament has run since 2009, and now brings in over 600 teams from 30 states across the nation.
