Evelyn Shoemake
Evelyn Geraldine Byrd Shoemake, 79, of Rock Spring, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
Evelyn is a member of the Woodstation Baptist Church and enjoyed working with silk flowers where she had the ability and vision to create beautiful arrangements for family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Avery Sheomake; daughter, Sandra Anderson; son, Danny Shoemake; grandchildren, Misty (Bryan) Fields, Tara Newton, and Kristy (Corey) Drew; one great grandchild, Mason Lewis; sisters, Louise Ray and Dorothy McAllister; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A private family only viewing will take place Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Private interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
