The Chattanooga Heart Institute at CHI Memorial has hired vascular surgeons Mark Fugate, MD, FACS, Sachin Phade, MD, FACS, RPVI, and Richard Sprouse, MD.
Dr. Fugate received his medical degree from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. He completed his residency in general surgery at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, and a fellowship in vascular surgery at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. Dr. Fugate is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in general and vascular surgery and has practiced as a vascular surgeon since 2009.
Dr.
Sprouse received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga, and a fellowship in vascular surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. Dr. Sprouse is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in vascular surgery and has practiced as a vascular surgeon since 2004.
Dr. Phade received his medical degree from West Virginia University. He completed his residency in surgery at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, and a fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Phade is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in general and vascular surgery, and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI). He has practiced as a vascular surgeon since 2011 and will join The Chattanooga Heart Institute on July 16.
