Dorothy McMillan, age 99, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at Quinton Memorial.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Jesse James and Martha Adaline Barnard; her husband, J.C. McMillan; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Sara Ellen Barnard, Roy and Mildred Barnard; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah Jane and Vick Boyd; and great-granddaughter, Katelynn Greeson.

She was a member of Good Samaritan Baptist Church for more than 40 years.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Donald Greeson and Wanda and Clifford Greeson all of Tunnel Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Pam McMillan of Cartersville; seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Monday, Aug. 10, at noon from the Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Corbin and Jerry, Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Aug. 9, from 4-8 p.m.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
