Hamilton, Bledsoe, Bradley, Marion And Sequatchie Counties Have New Coronavirus Deaths

The Hamilton County Health Department reported Tuesday that the total number of Hamilton County resident deaths has risen to 56, an increase of one since Monday.

Total cases now are 6,278 in Hamilton County, up 87. There are 4,763 people that have recovered from the virus in the county.

The number of COVID patients in Intensive Care has increased one since Monday to 27. There are 73 COVID patients hospitalized as well as 10 more suspected cases. Of those, 34 are Hamilton County residents.

The number of active cases in Hamilton County is listed at 1,459, an increase of 61 since Monday.

Tennessee had 38 more deaths bringing the toll to 1,271. 

There were 1,001 new cases in the state for a total of 124,915.

There were 125 more patients hospitalized to bring that total to 5,464.

There have been 85,313 people recover from the virus.

Testing numbers are above 1.73 million.

Shelby County: 23,625 cases, up 140; 314 deaths, up 6

Davidson County: 20,865 cases, up 143; 219 deaths, up 2

Knox County: 4,750 cases, up 65; 40 deaths

Bledsoe County:  716 cases, up 8; 2 deaths, up 1

Bradley County: 1,991 cases, up 35; 15 deaths, up 2

Franklin County: 338 cases, up 6; 4 deaths

Grundy County: 118 cases, up 4; 2 deaths

Marion County: 228 cases, up 1; 5 deaths, up 1

McMinn County: 559 cases, up 6; 20 deaths

Meigs County: 108 cases, up 2; no deaths

Monroe County: 451 cases, down 1; 9 deaths

Polk County: 213 cases, up 6; 3 deaths 

Rhea County: 544 cases, up 6; 2 deaths

Sequatchie County: 113 cases, up 7; 1 death, up 1
