Steve England
Donald Steven “Steve” England, 67, of Chickamauga, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020.
Steve retired from the City of Ringgold and was a member of the Shield Baptist Church in Chickamauga.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Green, Evelyn Wimpy, and Gail Adams; brothers, Robert “Bobby” England and Arnie “Bud” England; and parents, Arnie C. England and Alice Aters England.
Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lois England; daughter, Danita (Lance) Clark; son, Daniel (Amy) England; grandchildren, Ian England, Colin England, Matthew Clark, and Shelby Clark; brothers, Dennis (Ava) England and Ray England; sister-in-law, Martha Potter; several nieces and nephews; and his fur baby, Copper.
Family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Darrell Johnson, Tennessee Oncology, Carrie Pickard, and Amedisys Hospice of Dalton.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 1 p.m. in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tony Vona officiating.
Interment will be in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South with Pastor Jimmy Weaver officiating.
Pallbearers are Brian Payton, Darryl Payton, Joshua Keith, Wade Bates, Chet Groce and Gary Groce.
Family will receive friends at the funeral on Saturday from 6-8 p.m.
Family requests that “if you want to hug, then please cover your mug and wear a mask.”
Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made in Steve’s honor to Shield Baptist Church in support of the music ministry.
