If you Google "Pro Trump views and opinions" what you get are link after link to liberal news sites and online magazines that use words like impeach, coup and insurrection. What you don't see are any conservative views, moderate, conspiratorial or crazy. None, nadda, zilch. We all realize the President was an ego driven polarizing figure, I don't mean it as a judgement though. Now imagine any politician of any party in the place of Trump but superimpose his policies and platforms to the face and voice of your choosing and consider what has been accomplished and what was hoped for.
Reductions in military strength throughout the hotspots of the world. Is this bad? No matter what you think, I believe George W. and all his predecessors since FDR were establishment bureaucrats who supported New Deal and League of Nations politics. Policies that were the beginning of putting America at the back of the line because of some kind of weird misplaced quilt. Anybody remember that weapons of mass destruction were not found in Iraq and had been destroyed by Hussein many years before? Remember how Iran was kept in check by Iraq's military power much the same as Syria kept an uneasy peace with their neighbors before we got in the business of regime change again?
The border wall, who would argue that drugs and violence permeate both sides of the unsecured border and could be used as an entry point by any terrorist organization to infiltrate our country. If we can't keep ourselves safe how do we help other people in other parts of the world? I know many immigrants from south of the border who are here legally and have a work ethic that put a lot of Americans to shame. And they believe in legal immigration because they don't want their new country turning into what they just escaped from. If you have ever hired a small business for some manual labor at your house guess who these fine upstanding citizens get to do the hard work? If you said illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America you're right. And the biggest travesty is that they are paid virtually nothing.
If Hilary Clinton or Barack Obama had supported fair trade with China and Europe, had saved U.S. taxpayers money by making NATO pay its fair share to protect their continent, had reduced or eliminated our role in the United Nations and the World Health Organization and left our guns alone, I would have been waving the flag behind them every day. But they won't do that because they have been enlightened in Ivy League and European houses of higher learning and are much smarter than us average Joes. They know that a Global Community is the only way to true happiness, prosperity and peace.
If we survive the transition and don't mind not having any choice in how we lead our lives; as long as we go off to work and make the government allotted wage; as long as we have no power to resist when the elite decide they want more wealth, more leisure and more power, all while brainwashing us with entertainment filled with sex and booze; it's all good as long as we are not too hungover to be back at the factory droning away on Monday or would it be Sunday now since the new enlightened society would have no use for antiquated, incorrect church services.
Yes coup d'etat is the right word because the ex Republican and ex Democrat presidents and politicians, Google, big tech and social media have all aligned themselves against the only person in a very long time who wanted to put America first, to keep us free and not sell us out to a foreign country. Mr. Trump has a lot of flaws, we all do, at least his are open instead of concealed, it's called honesty.
Half of America voted for America first, old American values and after all the wasted money on previous investigations, Iran-Contra, Watergate, Monica Lewinsky the Russia probe our wise leaders would not spend a little more on the most important investigation of all. Was the election a scam with altered votes or true and fair? We will never know, the fact that no serious investigation took place speaks volumes to me and judging by the protest, others too.
I don't want to fight another revolution because violence when deemed just is still evil. I don't want to be a slave either. I want America to be the country it was meant to be, but to get there we all have to believe in something beyond ourselves and realize the world is not a playground for impish people-that boundaries, right and wrong are as relevant now as they were when time began. The question now is what do we do? How do we combat a system that stifles free speech and information on the internet, a system that will divide us more and perhaps brings an end to America?
